W. Morrison called the meeting to order at 6:45 P.M. He reported that the School Board and the Budget Committee had reviewed and recommended the both the new middle school and the new maintenance facility. The purpose of this meeting was to get input and a vote from the PBC on the maintenance facility.

S. Heinrich made a motion, seconded by T. Koenig, to recommend the $275,000 maintenance facility as proposed.

K. Powell asked for some background information on why the building was being presented this year. W. Morrison and S. Heinrich discussed the tour of the maintenance building as well as potential benefits to the current middle school if the maintenance department was moved this year rather then next.

The vote on the motion was unanimous.

Discussion turned the proposed new middle school. C. Morrison reported that there has been a traffic study which has resulted in several proposed improvements to the intersection of McQuestion and Baboosic Lake Roads. W. Morrison also indicated that the School Board has chosen to present the school option which includes a potential elementary school in the back of the property. He gave an explanation of the 30% aid and the potential for the kindergarten aid. C. Morrison noted that Meridian had presented a flawed map to the Planning Board which has since been corrected and that things are going as well as can be expected.

On a motion from M. Morrison, seconded by S. Heinrich, the committee voted unanimously to adjourn at 7:15 P.M.
