The District Registrar’s office is located at 2 Brentwood Drive, which is on the corner of Brentwood Drive and McElwain Street, just across the street from Merrimack High School. It is a little gray house that sits just at the edge of the MHS parking lot.
Patty Townsend is available from 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday on school days to process new registrations. It is important to call her at 603-714-7185 to make an appointment. Thanks so much and welcome to the Merrimack School District!
*To be eligible for kindergarten registration, a child must be five years old by September 30. To be eligible for first grade registration, a child must be six years old by September 30.
Physical Exams and Immunizations
Students registering for public school for the first time are required by state law (RSA 200:32) to have a physical examination by a licensed physician. The physical exam must take place within one year prior to the first day of school in order to meet entrance requirements. Students are also required to be immunized prior to school entrance (RSA 200:38 and 141-C). NH School Immunization requirements are linked below.
