Geography Activities

  • Over the years there have been many fun activities for the students to participate in and learn about geography. Usually once a year there is a map contest on the Library bulletin board where the students must identify the place on the maps to win. The lower wing students can compete as a class, while the third and fourth graders can works in teams of up to five students. In this year's contest Mrs. Champigny's class were the Lower wing winners. A team of Sean G., Daniel B. and Omar A. were the Upper wing students. One year the Library held a Continent Museum. Students were encouraged to bring in artifacts from different continents for display. The whole school came in by class to tour the museum.
