Also, please remember that masks are required on busses.
Students Being Driven to School: Starting at 8:00 AM students can be dropped off for school. Our procedures will remain the same as always, with students getting out of the cars once you have pulled up to the adults standing outside the playground in front of the gymnasium.
Parent Pick-Up Procedure - Revised
Please provide your child with a snack and water, daily. You may want to pack extra water as the days will be getting warmer.
Hot lunch is available; some of our students will be eating in the cafeteria, while others will eat in their classrooms.
Students will be protected with plexiglass shields in front of each of them.
Students will have lunch at school on Fridays, before being dismissed.
The Merrimack School District has a more stringent travel policy in place than that of the State.
Please note: If you travel outside of New England, your child will need to quarantine for 14 days, regardless if he/she has already had Covid. The classroom teacher will provide independent work for students to complete in that case.
Continued Covid Safety Protocols
As we pivot to ‘full-in’, it is essential that we continue to follow the safety protocols that are in place.
This includes mask-wearing, students staying home if they are sick or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid, and, ongoing hand washing/sanitizing.
The classrooms have been set up with plexiglass barriers when necessary, the hallways are marked with social distancing guidelines, and there is an abundance of bottled hand sanitizer throughout the building.
