THE BEAUDET BEAT!

I believe that music in the Elementary School is an essential component in developing higher achieving, well rounded students. In my classroom, students receive a strong musical foundation through action learning involving activities centered around singing, moving, instrument playing, and listening.

There is always some sort of music happening from the beginning to the end of each lesson. There is never “down time” and I use musical transitions to weave the various components of the lesson together creating a seamless, natural flow from activity to activity. I believe the routine of my class helps children know what to expect while always engaging them in something new and fun!
