About Mrs. Fay

 Hello! 

 I'd like to share some information about myself with you.  I went to Keene State College for my BS in Education, and have taken several credits toward my MEd at Rivier College.  I taught fourth grade for five years at Reeds Ferry Elementary School before choosing to stay home to raise my two daughters.  I stayed home with them for nine years, then began to substitute teach to ease back into teaching.  This will now be my seventh year teaching fifth grade at JMUES. 

I live in Merrimack, where my daughter Emma is a senior at MHS and my daughter Abby is a sophomore.  We have a super friendly golden retriever named Cooper, and I love to take him on hikes in the woods. I began hiking the 48 4,000 foot mountains of NH this year and managed to summit 13 of them!  It's a lot of fun!

One of my other hobbies is running and I have completed a marathon, four 1/2 marathons, and several 10 and 5K races.  I began an after-school running group here at JMUES three years ago to share my love of running with the students.  We are called the Jogging Jaguars and meet once a week throughout the school year.  Look for information about the club to come home at the beginning of the school year.
