Curriculum Updates

Social Studies:

We have just finished learning about Canada and are now learning about Central America. The students will be creating a bookmark all about Central America!  

Science: We are learning about the Scientific Method and lab rules. We are also learning all about what physical science is and how it helps us in our daily lives. 

Language Arts: We are in the middle of reading The Giver as an interactive read aloud. The kids are really engaged with this class novel! We are continuing to do our words their way activities and assessments weekly. We also have just starting English language Arts homework packets instead of Reading Logs. 

Math:

We have just begin our Everyday Math Unit 6.We are learning about multiplying and dividing fractions along with order of operations.
