Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Fowler

I received my BA in Psychology with a focus on Child Development from Keene State College in 2004. After graduating, I spent several years substitute teaching in grades K-8, and I was a paraeducator on an 8th grade Special Education team for a year. Being a lover of games of ALL kinds (team-builders, board games, sports...you name it!), I found a position as the director of a summer camp when school wasn't in session. After spending so much time with kids, I decided to make a career out of my passion, and I went back to Keene State to get my teaching certificate and Masters degree in Education.

I joined the JMUES community as a sixth grade teacher in 2008, and this is my third year as the Gifted and Talented enrichment teacher at JMUES and MES.

When I'm not at school I love to spend time as much time as I can with Mr. Fowler, our four-year-old son, Sam, and our six-month-old daughter, Rosie. I enjoy reading, baking, being outdoors, and and playing with our two dogs, Molly and Angus. I love to play basketball and volleyball, and I recently discovered kayaking as a new way to explore nature.
