    Students will further develop skills and utilize CAD techniques to produce geometric shapes and solid models using Rhinoceros 3.0© and Solidworks© software. Project work will include the mechanical design of machine parts, cams, gears and fasteners.  Students will be exposed to pre-engineering principles and concepts such as fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and static analysis. Post-secondary and career opportunities in design and engineering fields will also be discussed.  This course fulfills the Information Computer Technology (ICT) or the Fine Arts requirement for graduation.
