The history and theory of conventional power systems are analyzed through classroom instruction and hands-on experiences. Units of instruction include the construction, principles of operation and servicing of two and four cycle small gas engines, diesels, the study of hydraulics and pneumatics, and the extensive use of automotive tools and test equipment. This course is not weighted and will not be included in a student’s ranking GPA.
