This Novice Low to Novice Mid level Spanish course is designed for students who are beginning their study of the language. Students develop basic communicative skills related to every day topics. Students identify and compare cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries.  The emphasis is on vocabulary development and grammatical structures to develop the students' skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.  Upon successful completion of the course, students will meet the Novice Low-Novice Mid proficiency level.
