    Success in School is a survey course of study skills necessary to achieve success in a high school environment. Students will explore strategies in the areas of learning styles, test taking skills and techniques, reading in the content area, memory, organizational skills, communication skills and writing skills.  Techniques will be linked directly to each student’s individual course of study.  Semester 2 participation decision will be made by the SIS teacher, guidance counselor, parent and student. The options are to continue to address the above skills for .5 credit, use as a guided study without credit or move to a general study hall. This course is not weighted and will not be included in a student’s ranking GPA.  

    Prerequisite:  Recommendation of the Guidance Counselor
