    This course is designed for study of the American legal system, including the creation, enforcing and interpreting of laws. Criminal behavior and juvenile law are major units of the course.  The instruction in this course will engage the class using a variety of hands-on applications, including mock trial, analysis of case studies, and class discussion as well as more intensive research and writing assignments and assessments throughout the semester.
