    This course is a rapid paced, topic-oriented approach to extend the students’ learning skills and critical thinking ability. It covers such chemistry content as Atomic structure, mole concepts, stoichiometry, gases, solutions, thermochemistry, and bonding. Laboratory skills will also be stressed. Students will be assigned a summer project in preparation for this class. The project is intensive in nature, and students will be penalized if they choose not to complete the project. This course meets the Physical Science requirement for graduationThis course requires a summer project.
