This course is designed to expose the student to the nature of the organizational environment and the major activities performed by its managers in today’s business world. The course is organized around the functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Case studies are used to apply the principles of management to hypothetical business situations.
Optional: This course is being offered as a STEM Running Start Comprehensive or Honors course through Nashua Community College. Students will decide at the beginning of the semester to take the course as a STEM Running Start option. Upon completion of the course students will receive a NCC transferable transcript indicating the grade received in the course.
