This course is designed to provide an opportunity for students to explore math in the world around them outside of the traditional Algebra and Geometry track. Students will gain a basic understanding of how statistics are used in the world around them. Students will develop the tools necessary to make informed decisions. Focus areas for this course include data analysis, graph analysis, tools for statistics, and politics and polling.
Prerequisite: Applied Math 2 or Consumer Math Foundations
